and here i was thinking the hard decisions were over...

decisions... decisions... decisions... and here i was thinking the hard decisions were done with...

thats a big fat NOPE!

So after you make that first one you then end up with a giant envelope full of different flyers showing all the different things you have to decide... oh boy what did i get myself in for!

So now we have brick colours, roof colours, gutters, facias, windows, doors, wall colours, kitchen bench colours, cabinet colours, bathroom tiles, floor tiles, and the list goes on. When you buy an existing house all this hard stuff is done for you. you go in, decide if you like the place and if so you buy it...  here i have a piece of paper which shows what the floorplan will be and i have to imagine all the colours and textures together.

So now it comes to the long process of beginning to select colours that we both like and that will go together. I have somehow subconsiously decided that the entire house will be grey tones but that is about all.

Once piece of advise that i will give to other going through this... whoever your suppliers are that you can select through, go and see them in person. Don't rely on the pamphlets or what you can see on their websites. Order samples, visit brick yards, compare them all.

next up... I'll take you through the decision process...
